The goal of Velo Chic is to increase the bicycle ridership in an urban environment for a sustainable future. In America, women comprise only 25% of bicycle riders. The main factor that leads to this gender gap is that the industry trend of bicycles continues to focus on the existing bicyclists and ignoring the needs of the non-riders. In this case, female users could become an expanding market for the bicycle industry in the future.

Instead of another exercise tool, the concept of Velo Chic tends to provide female users a solution for daily transport. With the elegant mechanism design, women can put on their beautiful dress and ride to anywhere with style. In addition, the folding design of Velo Chic can helps people to storage this design at home in an elegant and stylish way.
Target User
- Non-bikers
- Female users
- Living in urban area
- Living in a small studio
