Developed in Britain, The Lightning GT provides supercar drivers with the performance, looks and style they seek, yet emission free at point of use. The Lightning features the very latest in new and proven technologies with a range of advanced engineering and technical features.

The Lithium Titanate batteries provide the Lightning with a range of over 150 miles in standard specification and in excess of 225 miles with the optional range extender pack.
The advanced battery technology enables a superfast recharge in as little as 10 minutes and also a product leading stable operating temperature band of -40c to + 55c. Battery life is also exceptionally long at over 10,000 cycles. The Lightning GT will be built in Britain with an aluminium honeycomb chassis and superform aluminium bodywork. The chassis also holds the batteries,such integration giving the car exceptional stiffness and handling properties. The smooth 300kw (400hp) twin motor powertrain ensures instant surge and seamless acceleration. The performance intent of the GT is impressive with a 0-60 time of under 5 seconds and class leading 30 -70 mph dash. In standard specification the top speed has a recommended limit of 125 mph. The electronic differential provides the car with superb traction at all cornering speeds.
