Mangrove forests tourism is an attractive eco-travel for eco-tourists. Not many people know that mangroves play the important role in the preservation and protection of coastal ecology. Moreover, the resources that the mangrove ecosystem offers could be great assistance to the development of livelihoods for local communities. They are the nurseries for many species of the reef. Reef fish and other animals lay their eggs among the mangroves. The hatchlings are washed out to sea by the floods in the rainy season. The mangrove is also a good natural filter of impurities in water including absorb the large amounts of carbon in its roots.

Did you know that Tourism contributes about 8% of global GDP, and one in 12 jobs world-wide.
Tourism can have a variety of negative impacts on biodiversity, particularly when there is no adequate management, overexploitation of local resources, waste and pollution, invasive alien species, infrastructure development, and greenhouse gas emissions. Tourists expects a clean environment and they will not return to polluted or degraded destinations, which will cause economic losses.
